Isack Hadjar is eagerly looking forward to Miami. After five weeks without a Grand Prix, the Frenchman admitted that he missed the competition even more than he missed simply driving. His return to the track therefore comes at just the right time.

It's a visibly relaxed Isack Hadjar who is eagerly looking forward to Miami after a long break. “I was really starting to get itchy, he admits at a press conference, happy to be back in competition.

Red Bull is introducing updates, as is pretty much everyone else, but the Frenchman remains cautious. “I don't expect to be in the running for the podium this weekend, he warns. The goal is rather to make progress: “To get closer to Q3 more easily.”

His adjustment to the team, however, came naturally. The transition was fairly easy,” he explains. The result: “I feel very comfortable getting the most out of the car.”

Regarding the rules, the Frenchman highlights how quickly F1 and the FIA reacted so early in the season: “It's positive that we were able to make changes after just three races.”

Finally, the weather could complicate matters on Sunday, as we know. There is a risk of thunderstorms, in particular. “We don't want to see big gaps in speed under these conditions,” he insists, aware of the challenges posed by rain. It remains to be seen if it will be part of the picture.
