The iconic Williams Racing team will celebrate its 750th Formula 1 Grand Prix during the fifth round of the season, the Monaco Grand Prix, which will take place from May 21 to 23.

As Monaco prepares for another glamorous Grand Prix weekend, Williams Racing is about to reach a milestone that few teams have ever achieved in this sport: 750 starts in the world championship. Founded in 1977 by Patrick Williams and Patrick Head, the British team will become only the third to reach this figure, behind McLaren (884 starts) and Ferrari (1,012 starts).

After four decades and 44 uninterrupted seasons, Williams' record remains impressive: nine constructors' world championship titles, seven drivers' world championship titles, 114 victories, 128 pole positions, and 312 podium finishes, even if recent years have been less competitive. To celebrate this milestone, the team is honoring the people who have followed its journey. Fans, staff, and fellow athletes are invited to reminisce about the race or moment they fell in love with Williams, and a dedicated page on the team's website allows visitors to discover which Grand Prix sparked their loyalty.

A hundred lucky supporters will have their names engraved on the FW43B's halo during the Monaco race, while George Russell and Nicholas Latifi's cars will feature a special “750 Grand Prix” badge. Even the team's clothing will be personalized, with each outfit displaying the number of races its wearer has participated in.

New CEO Jost Capito, who took the reins after the Williams family stepped down, summed up the sentiment: “Williams has always been about people: the team, the fans around the world. This milestone is an opportunity to pay tribute to everyone who has been part of the 750 Grand Prix adventure and who will continue to support us as we enter a new era. “
