During his last F1 Grand Prix, Haas banned Mick Schumacher from doing donuts.

Mick Schumacher's brief F1 career ended unexpectedly and on a sour note. After just two seasons, the German driver thought he could finally relax at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but he was interrupted while spinning his car in a safety zone. It wasn't the stewards who intervened, but his own team, who sent him a radio message: “Mick, can you stop doing donuts? Seriously?” The son of the seven-time world champion was never a talent who made headlines. He will not be remembered in the same way as Vettel or Ricciardo, who have also retired, but it is difficult to criticize a driver who has proudly worn his team's colors for two years. The incident occurred during the last race of the season, posed no safety risk, and had no impact on the competition. It seems disrespectful to spoil his moment of joy, especially since Schumacher was the only driver to keep the Haas team afloat in 2021 and to have done his best to do the same in 2022. His departure, in these circumstances, is particularly sad.
