The Mate la Reine team, proud of Huedada's upcoming marriage, is aiming for a successful year ahead, but despite promises and agreements, Roland de Boullier is failing to attract champions to his domain. With pressure mounting in Woking, a casting call is now essential.

The former rector of Luthus, Roland Boulet, has settled in Woking, where Mate la Reine is located. He has been knighted and is now known as Roland de Boullier. “Yes, my page! I have some big news to announce!” he declares. “What? What are you saying? Do you know my business?” he continues, confronting a “malicious spirit.” His proclamation is clear: he is looking for a new champion for his team. “Listen, listen, good people of Formula Oats! Our team is looking for a gentleman—committed, valiant, and above all fast—capable of winning many trophies,” he announces, addressing Don Fernando.Fernando replies: “Huh? What am I hearing? The opportunity is perfect! How about putting my talent at your service? However, I only want to stay for twelve moons. One more would be really inappropriate.” Roland retorts: “Illustrious Fernando, I see right through your game. I think you are just a disappointed and ambitious man who already dreams of running away to a competitor, perhaps even in Germany. Nevertheless, I admit that the offer is tempting: the third crown you have imagined will be easier to obtain with the abbess; you won't have to go to confession on Sundays.” “The language of the men here is money,” notes Fernando, “and our friend Huedada has a lot of it.” Roland retorts, “I don't want a beggar's money, Roland. My decision is made: I will stay for a year.” Roland sighs, “Too bad! Let's see who's next.” Enter Romain the Convert, an old friend. “My Roland, my friend! How are you, my old brother? Is it true what he says, this blessed troubadour? You are now looking for a powerful knight!” he asks. Roland replies, “Yes! Bring me a new steed!” but warns, “Not so fast, dear friend… I understand that you want to escape the sad traps of Luthus. However, Huedada, whether out of reason or pride, will only welcome champions.”

Sir Jenson warns: “Despite your ambition, if you find nothing, I fear you will have to stay with us next year.” Ragnar Kevin adds: “I was promised two years… and already they are plotting. A pig that goes back on its word… Treason, damn it!”
